For more than 15 years, Len’s Auto Body & Paint of Oceanside has been known for the fast turnaround, expert workmanship and superior service demanded by the insurance industry.

In March 2002, we’re going to get even better.

Plans are underway for a new 22,000-square-foot facility that will nearly double the size of our current shop.  Facing Highway 76 between Airport and Benet roads, the new Len’s will include larger work departments, state-of-the-art computerized equipment and insurance-friendly components that will make getting your clients in and out faster and easier than ever.

We’ll handle estimates in a 2,250-square-foot area designed for this purpose only.  Upon assignment, vehicles will immediately enter the repair area in lanes designated for heavy, medium and light hits.  In the words of owner Len Verheyen, “The cars will never back up.  They will always go forward, with no bottlenecking.”

The spacious work area will have expanded paint, body and mechanical repair stations.  Overhead spot welding equipment, four frame machines and a central vacuum system will help reduce in-shop time by as much as 25 percent.

We’re also going to build eight work stations with computer terminals for insurance company representatives.  Within the new facility will be a rent-a-car service for our clients’ convenience.

Additional space will allow for the expansion of our apprenticeship program to train more low-tech workers to assist our high-tech professionals in all phases of the repair process.
